Accuity, a leading worldwide provider of data, software and services to the financial services industry, today introduced enhancements to Global Payment File-Plus (GPF-Plus), its financial institution data and routing information tool.

GPF-Plus is a relational database consisting of payments-critical data used to improve payment straight through processing (STP) rates and overall payment efficiencies.

The new version of GPF-Plus includes several updates that are designed to offer more information and present it in a way that is easy to use. The first new feature is the inclusion of override codes for ACH processing, EBA clearing systems and Fedwire processing. This ensures that all the required information that is needed for specific clearing systems is available. This version also features additional contact data enabling users to locate a specific department easily in order to resolve any payment processing issues. In addition to the above new data, the GPF-Plus database has been re-engineered so that it can be easily implemented across an institution's entire payment network.

"Experienced payments professionals recognize the need for Accuity data in order to efficiently run their businesses," said David Leverenz, Accuity's director of product management and development. "The improved database structure and additional data points available in GPF-Plus expand upon the solid foundation we have created with this product."
