City Networks releases commission management module

Source: City Networks

Today at SIBOS 2007, City Networks launched PROactive Commission Manager, a new solution which provides full control of commission and fees, ensuring financial organizations have the information required to manage payments and receipts across all financial instruments, entities and trading partners.

As a result, organizations can make sure they are not being overcharged, can negotiate improved terms and leverage best execution across their trading relationship.

PROactiveTM Commission Manager works by retrieving, standardizing and consolidating trades executed directly or via an agent to calculate the total cost of each transaction. The solution has the flexibility to consolidate billing information from a variety of sources in any format, either electronic eg Excel or paper and provides a global view of payments and receipts, which organizations can leverage for improved commercial terms with trading partners.

A fundamental part of the solution is the sophisticated calculation engine which is based on City Networks twenty years industry leading experience with the inter-deal brokerage market. This market leading technology has a range of inbuilt calculations to address a wide array of trade types or complex discount structures. It bases calculations on the organization's own internal records, rather than those of the trading partner and the breadth of calculations covers fixed fees, variable charges, point of sales discounts, volume discounts, thresholds, caps etc based on parameterized agreements for one or a global agent relationship. With PROactiveTM Commission Manager, financial organizations can establish centres of excellence for processing commission payments with global trading partners and therefore benefit from all the inherent advantages of best practice and buying power.
