APX compatibility with Trayport's GlobalVision product will enable members connecting through Trayport's GlobalVision Trading Gateway platform to view full market depth, ensuring greater visibility and accessibility of APX's prices. Support for Trayport's Trading Gateway will firstly be launched for APX's gas markets and subsequently extended to APX's power markets.

Trayport's Trading Gateway is used widely by the trading community and its introduction will ensure that prices on APX's screens can be accessed not only from our trading platform but also by those traders who use Trayport's GlobalVision Trading Gateway product to access market prices."

In order to introduce this functionality, APX has developed the APX Translator which supports all significant functionalities of both platforms, providing Trayport GlobalVision Trading Gateway users with real-time market information and the ability to submit, modify and hit/lift APX orders. Complete transparency of APX markets is available ththrough GlobalVision ensuring full market depth and that all pricing information available through the EuroLight platform is also accessible for members choosing to view APX's markets through GlobalVision. Any postings and transactions made (whether directly in the EuroLight screen or through GlobalVision) are immediately reflected across both platforms.

Roll out of Trayport functionality

The APX Translator will shortly be introduced for APX Gas UK, APX Gas NL and APX Gas ZEE. The functionality will then be further rolled out on APX's power markets once its trading platforms are upgraded to the latest version of EuroLight (APX's trading platform). This is due to occur with UK power very soon.
