Aegis establishes FIX services division

Aegis Software, a best-in-class global provider of high performance, configurable trading and testing solutions, is pleased to introduce its newly established Aegis Pro Services to assist companies throughout the testing, certification and client support phases of their FIX initiatives.

The services complement Aegis' Exchange Simulator and Client Simulator, which are widely recognized throughout the financial services industry as the defacto FIX testing and simulation tools available in the market. The addition of the much-requested services offering enables top tier buy and sell-side firms, exchanges and ECNs to achieve their goals for high-quality functional and performance FIX testing, client On-Boarding and manual/automated regression testing.

The industry is moving faster than ever before to upgrade and enhance their FIX infrastructure. For example, NYSE is offering the Common Customer Gateway, both as a faster pipe into the exchange, and as an alternative to the legacy CMS protocol. AMEX is fielding the new FIX-based AEMI protocol and CME is enhancing GLOBEX's FIX capabilities in order to support CBOT integration.
