Equifax Inc. (NYSE: EFX) today announced that it has expanded its Personal Solutions offering to give consumers the flexibility to purchase credit information via mail, phone, fax and over the Internet.
In addition to viewing and purchasing personalized credit products online, consumers can now receive by mail a portfolio of credit solutions, including credit reports, credit scores and monitoring tools such as Equifax Credit Watch.
"Equifax's Personal Solutions Group is committed to providing all consumers with convenient and secure credit management tools to understand, manage and protect their credit health," said Jim Balkcom, group executive, Personal Solutions, Equifax. "By enabling the purchase of our Personal Solutions products via mail, phone, fax and online, Equifax is making it easier for consumers to obtain their credit report, monitor their personal credit history, and communicate with us, anytime, anywhere."
Consumers now have the option of receiving Equifax Credit Watch, Score Power, the 3-in-1 Credit Report, as well as the combined 3-in-1 Credit Report with Score by mail for the same price offered online. Consumers can purchase the products directly from Equifax.com or print the downloadable forms to place orders by fax or mail.
These new consumer options are the latest in a series of offerings from Equifax's Personal Solutions business this year. In April, Equifax launched its online Equifax Credit Watch Family Program and in June, announced the availability of new Equifax Credit Watch fraud detection features, enabling consumers to quickly detect changes in their Equifax Credit Report and protect themselves against identity theft. Recently, Equifax Personal Solutions introduced its credit scoring product, Equifax Credit Rating, in the U.K.
