Ness Technologies opens Indian R&D centre as part of Brocade alliance

Ness Technologies (NASDAQ: NSTC), a global provider of IT services and solutions, today announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD), the leader in networked storage solutions that help enterprises connect, share and manage their information.

According to the terms of the collaboration, Ness Technologies has established a Research & Development Center in Pune, India to support Brocade's fast growing File Area Network (FAN) business.

The Ness and Brocade collaboration provides Brocade with expanded resources for the company's File Area Network technology development, maintenance and test activities.

The new Pune facility was inaugurated in late June by Sachi Gerlitz, President and CEO of Ness Technologies, Shashank Samant, President, Ness North America, and Guru Pangal, VP FAN Product Development, Brocade. The new facility was specifically planned according to global design trends, has a world class IT infrastructure including advanced connectivity infrastructure and energy saving hardware, and meets high security standards.

The Ness India centers span across the cities of Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and Chennai. The centers serve clients across North American and European regions providing outsourcing and offshore services. The verticals span Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and high-tech, financial services, BFSI, life sciences, telecom and utilities.
