Omgeo, the leading provider of post-execution trade management solutions, today announced that Michael C. Bodson, executive managing director for business management, strategy and marketing for The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has joined the Omgeo Board of Managers.

Mr. Bodson replaces Jill M. Considine, former chairman and CEO of DTCC and a six-year veteran of Omgeo's board. Miss Considine has retired from her DTCC and Omgeo positions but continues to serve as a senior advisor to the DTCC board of directors. Omgeo's 12-member Board of Managers is responsible for governance and industry oversight of the organization and is responsible for representing the interests of all Omgeo's clients.

Mr. Bodson joined DTCC in early 2007. Reporting directly to Donald F. Donahue, DTCC chairman and CEO, he is primarily responsible for all product management, strategic planning, relationship management and marketing. That includes oversight of DTCC's core clearance and settlement businesses for equities and fixed income, its custody and asset servicing businesses, and the processing support provided to the mutual fund and insurance sectors, as well as DTCC's growing role in automating the post-trade processing of over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives.

Prior to his role at DTCC, Mr. Bodson spent more than 20 years at Morgan Stanley, most recently as managing director and global head of operations. He also worked for both Bear Stearns and Price Waterhouse. Mr. Bodson is a graduate of Boston College and is also a certified public accountant.

"Mike Bodson's broad industry perspective and keen insight will be invaluable to Omgeo," said Richard R. Macek, chairman of Omgeo. "Not only does he have global experience, particularly in Asia, that will benefit Omgeo's growth, but he has proven operations expertise that will help Omgeo continue to be both responsive to client issues and the changing trends affecting the industry. We also want to thank Jill Considine for her ceaseless commitment to Omgeo since its inception. She's played a key role in helping position Omgeo for growthth."

"Omgeo's transition over the past six years from start-up to a vital thread within the industry's fabric could not have been achieved without Jill's role on our board," said Marianne C. Brown, president and CEO of Omgeo. "We are confident that Mike's voice will be critical in helping us develop and execute our strategy in the future, particularly as we expand into asset classes beyond equities and fixed income and further entrench our services in new markets around the globe."
