TSYS Europe and The Gift Voucher Shop (GVS) today announced the successful launch of GVS' One4all retail gift card campaign in five major Irish Post Offices in Dublin and on the GVS Web site.

GVS is an established gift-giving service that offers consumers and recipients ultimate choice and flexibility. The new gift cards will be offered in a growing number of Post Offices throughout Ireland and the UK later this year. TSYS Europe has issued more than 1.7 million instant-issuance, non-personalised cards in support of the GVS One4all product - making it the largest, single-customer bulk card order done by the company to date.

"When we approached TSYS Europe with this program, we knew it was going to be a challenge for them to accommodate an order of this magnitude with such a short timeframe," said Declan Byrne, director of international business development for GVS. "They have met this challenge head-on, enabling us to enjoy a successful roll-out of the One4all product, as well as move forward with a product expansion into more locations across the UK and Ireland as scheduled."

"The launch of the GVS One4all prepaid card is another fantastic example of TSYS delivering innovative and large scale prepaid programmes. The product is Visa supported, although the card does not carry the logo, and is restricted to acceptance within a GVS-defined network of more than 200 UK retailers," said Kelley Knutson, managing director of TSYS Europe. "GVS have a strong established paper voucher business and chose TSYS to process the prepaid product, so our ability to deliver a robust solution capable of handling substantial volumes was key. Our experienced European-based prepaid team was instrumental for this project and they continue to demonstrate great proficiency at managing large scale clients across Europe."

TSYS now process multiple prepaid portfolios for major banks across Europe, including Bank of Ireland, Royal Bank of Scotland, Norwich Union, Santander and LloydsTSB.
