Triton announced today that the new Encrypting PIN Pads (EPP) on the Triton Mako, SuperScrip, 9100, 9700, and 9600 Series ATMs have been certified as being compliant with new VISA security requirements.
This announcement follows the Visa certification of the Triton RL5000 and FT5000 in May of 2004. This additional compliance confirms Triton's ongoing commitment to providing a secure vehicle for consumers to carry out various financial transactions. Triton continues to uphold consumer security by also providing Triple DES encryption capabilities, now standard on all Triton ATMs.
"Triton continues to build on its commitment to producing an ATM that consumers can use with confidence; one that protects them from fraudulent activity at the ATM," said Brian Kett, president of Triton.
Tests by T-Systems ITC Security lab of Germany confirm that the Triton EPP meets Visa's new security requirements.
