Eagle names Leaper SVP, global sales; Erman SVP, professional services

Eagle Investment Systems, a leading provider of financial services technology and a unit of The Bank of New York Mellon, has appointed Robert Leaper and Robert Erman to its senior management team.

Leaper, senior vice president of global sales, will be responsible for further extending the reach of Eagle's rapidly growing business globally around Eagle's investment accounting, data management and performance measurement solutions. As senior vice president of professional services for Eagle, Erman is charged with expanding Eagle's professional services business.

"We are very pleased to be able to expand the breadth of our senior management team with individuals who have extensive experience in our market," said John Lehner, president of Eagle, which is a unit of BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, the global leader in asset servicing. "Both have very strong entrepreneurial, consulting, and global investment industry backgrounds, which will help to further propel Eagle's continued success."

Leaper has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and investment software industries, most recently as chief executive officer of Data Agent LLC. Previously, he was managing director at InvestTech Systems Consulting, vice president of Sales at Verilytics Inc. and director of global business development at Thomson Financial.

Erman joins Eagle with 18 years of experience delivering software and services to the financial services industry. He served as an executive vice president at ANAQUA, Inc. and also was part of the founding executive team at Plural, Inc., where he was instrumental in growing its revenue to $100 million and expanding geographically throughout the United States.
