Triton has announced the production launch of the RL2000, an affordable, feature-rich stand-alone ATM with more functionality and standard features than any comparably priced ATM currently in the market.
The RL2000's innovative design is based on Microsoft's Windows operating system and Triton's X2 mainboard, which makes the RL2000 as reliable as it is affordable. Triton's X2 mainboard provides increased performance while also allowing for future upgrades such as EMV and Remote Key Transfer without compromising processing speed.
"The RL2000 is one of Triton's most flexible ATMs to date. The unit's walk-up design is packed with many useful features and is ideal for all types of retail chains, and is equally suited for use in financial institutions' off-premise and/or lobby placements," said Triton President Brian Kett.
Triton's RL2000 has increased memory capacity allowing for greater storage of journal data and advertising components. It also includes a standard 5.7" VGA resolution color display (a first for the ATM industry) or an optional 8" VGA resolution color display that supports improved advertising and screen customizing capabilities. Optional backlit high-topper or mid-topper signs are also available which improve the visibility of the ATM, ultimately leading to an increase in transaction volume.
"Extensive lab and field testing has proven that the RL2000 is Triton's most reliable terminal to date," said Bill Jackson, Triton's Vice President of Engineering. "This terminal will reset the benchmarks for up-time in the field."
