The company's product, called a PassMark, gives financial institutions and e-commerce companies an enhanced authentication solution. In a very user-friendly manner, it authenticates the Web site to the user in order to prevent phishing attacks and authenticates the user to the Web site.

In his new position, Klebe will be driving sales activity, forming key partner relationships and developing the sales organization. He will bring his 25 years of experience to Passmark Security, which includes expertise in electronic payment processing, fraud screening and data security.

As one of the earliest evangelists for Internet-based payment and e-commerce, Klebe has already specialized in this field for ten years. He sits on the board of directors of the Electronic Transaction Association, and is sought after as an industry spokesperson, with more than 50 banking and computer industry conference presentations to his credit.

Klebe is a recognized strategic relationship builder who works with key industry players in the payment and risk industries to develop joint products, joint sales efforts and equity investments.

Most recently, Klebe served as the vice president of strategic alliances at CyberSource. During his eight years there Klebe developed relationships with Visa International, Visa USA, GE Capital, First Data Merchant services, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, Paymentech and others. Earlier in his career, Klebe served in management positions at CyberCash, VeriFone and Atalla.
