Based in London, Karen will primarily be focused on developing new products and services for UK and continental European investment managers. Karen reports to Mark Schoen, Vice President, Head of Product Development, Europe.

Hamilton's appointment supports Northern Trust's recent entry into the UK fund accounting arena and is further evidence of the organisation's continued commitment to its growth strategy for the GFS business in Europe.

Prior to this appointment, Hamilton was Project Manager at Mellon European Fund Services and has held several senior fund management administration positions at F & C Management Ltd.
