ClariFI, a Standard & Poor's Capital IQ business and leading provider of software and services focused on quantitative portfolio management and research, today announced the addition of Andrew Hicks to their Business Development team.

Based in the London office, Mr. Hicks will be responsible for growing and supporting the client base in that region and expanding ClariFI's presence throughout Europe. Prior to joining ClariFI, Mr. Hicks was an Analytics Business Manager at UBS where he gained experience in business development, software design, and staff management. He also has a deep knowledge of optimization, factor analysis, and risk management, plus arbitrage calculation and derivative research, and has experience in equities and fixed income.

"We welcome the depth of talent and experience that Andrew will bring to our team," said Donovan Goodreau, Vice President of Sales and Business Development for ClariFI. "We've already had great success in bringing our quantitative management and research platform ModelStation to the financial marketplace in the UK. Andrew will take the lead in accelerating ClariFI's expansion by developing key relationships and introducing ModelStation to the rest of Europe."

Mr. Hicks commented, "I am very excited to join an industry-leading company during a time of such tremendous growth, and I look forward to the opportunities ahead. The reputation of ClariFI's product and professional services are second to none. I plan to leverage my unique background to fit the strategic direction of the company while working to broaden ClariFI's European presence."
