He brings more than 10 years of technology sales experience to the position, and he will help grow and manage Cypress' sales efforts on the West Coast and North Central United States.

"Matt brings an impressive sales background in software and consulting services, which will prove valuable as we grow our professional services division and continually develop new business opportunities for our automated credit decisioning software," said Stephen G. Sargent, president and chief executive officer at Cypress. "Matt's work at CapitalStream illustrates his extensive knowledge of the banking and finance industry, as well as the technology needs of banks, credit unions and other financial institutions."

Prior to Cypress, Hill served as account executive and inside sales manager for Seattle-based CapitalStream, where he led sales efforts for the company's business loan automation products. While there, he developed relationships with C-level executives at banks and finance companies across the country, and he consistently surpassed his yearly sales quotas.

Before that, Hill was lead generation manager for software developer MindArrow Systems of Aliso Viejo, Calif., where developed and managed lead generation campaigns and launched a customer relationship management (CRM) program for the company's sales force.

Hill also worked for Epicor Software Corp. in Irvine, Calif., where he was responsible for budgeting, planning and executing integrated lead generation marketing campaigns for the company's seven different product lines.

Hill received a Bachelor of Science in business management and marketing in 1999 from San Diego State University in San Diego.
