RBS Lynk, the US payment processing arm of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, announced today that it has appointed Larry Mandras as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Mandras joined RBS Lynk earlier this year as senior vice president, product management. In his expanded role as CTO, Mandras adds the IT functions for RBS Lynk to his areas of responsibility, including transaction processing and application development.

"Larry's extensive knowledge base will allow us to develop a seamless bridge between all our technology-related groups," said Larry C. Wine, president and CEO of RBS Lynk. "This synergy will ensure our continued leadership of the industry, with best-in-class payment solutions for a wide selection of market segments."

Before joining RBS Lynk, Mandras was vice president of Application Development/Systems at Global Payments, Inc. He brings to his new role more than 20 years of experience in product and project management, finance, financial systems and technology leadership, including seven years with Global Payments.
