Pipeline Data (OTCBB:PPDA) announced today that its AIRCHARGE subsidiary, a leader in wireless payment processing, has released a solution to Dobson Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:DCEL) for mobile merchants to accept credit card payments over BlackBerry devices.

Under the licensed trade name Cellular One and the business name Dobson Cellular Systems, Dobson is the largest independent rural wireless provider in the United States.

AIRCHARGE credit card payment devices are used by merchants to accept payments in many types of mobile environments including HVAC, plumbing, limousine and taxi, furniture delivery, trade show, flea market or any situation where access to standard phone lines is limited, expensive, or simply not convenient or available.

"We are delighted to have added Dobson Communications, the third largest provider of GSM wireless services in the United States, to our lineup of major wireless carriers utilizing AIRCHARGE payment processing services on select BlackBerry devices," stated James L. Plappert, chief marketing officer of AIRCHARGE. "The addition of the Dobson sales channel and customer base expands the market for our product offerings and enables the large and growing number of mobile business owners who utilize the Dobson BlackBerry solution to experience the convenience, savings and security of accepting credit card payments wirelessly."

The AIRCHARGE payment processing software can be loaded onto the customer's BlackBerry over-the-air (OTA) and is compatible with virtually any merchant processing account. The AIRCHARGE JavaME software for wireless payment processing is certified to operate on the Dobson GSM/GPRS/EDGE Network using the BlackBerry 8300g, 8800g, 8700g, 8100g, 7780, 7290, 7280, 7130g and 7100g. The new AIRCHARGE software and latest version of AirPro swipe/printer includes upgrades to the credit card reader, printing speed and battery life.
