SimCorp Asia appoints Norm Hebron sales manager

SimCorp Asia has appointed Norm Hebron as sales manager reporting to the director of sales and marketing, Nick Quin.

He is based in SimCorp's regional headquarters in Sydney and his appointment brings the company's local headcount to 33.

During his 27-year career Mr Hebron has specialised in sales of complex high-value solutions within the business-to-business environment for major players in the IT, telecommunications, manufacturing and chemicals industries.

Prior to joining SimCorp, Mr Hebron was Northern Region sales manager for MRO Software, the leading provider of enterprise asset management and IT service management solutions, which was acquired in 2006 by IBM.

In earlier roles at Alcatel Australia and Unisys Australia he led teams of sales executives offering system integration solutions to prominent companies in the telecommunications, manufacturing and retail sectors.

In each of these roles and during his eight-year period at Amcor Packaging where he was sales and marketing manager SE states, the emphasis was on a structured, methodology-based approach to selling.
