Fiserv CBS Worldwide, a business unit of Fiserv, has announced the signing of its tenth client for Fiserv Aperio, the company's process-based, front end solution for retail financial services. With the recent signing of a large European financial institution, Fiserv Aperio is now licensed in every global region that Fiserv serves including North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America.

Through a single customer view, Fiserv Aperio, the next generation in customer interaction management, helps financial institutions deliver better service by dynamically managing customer contacts to foster deeper, more profitable relationships. Using advanced interaction management techniques and multi-channel capabilities, Fiserv Aperio supports branch renewal initiatives and helps institutions improve sales and service.

Fiserv Aperio clients range from established traditional banks with large regional footprints to innovative new market entrants with aggressive growth plans. Deployments of Fiserv Aperio span web, branch and call center delivery channels that service bank's customers and include integration with both Fiserv and non-Fiserv core processing systems on various technology platforms.

One client, connectfinancial, a leading Australian financial institution, will use Fiserv Aperio across the organization's branch network and call center to develop deeper relationships with customers, automate standard processes and provide front-line staff with a consolidated, real-time view of customer information from multiple databases. Frustrated by disparate customer databases, manual processes and inefficient compliance procedures, connectfinancial sought a better solution for customer interaction management.

According to John Hensby, chief executive officer at connectfinancial, "Our business model demands that front-end staff have customer information that is supported by automated, paperless processes, can be launched from their desks, and is available at their fingertips. Fiserv Aperio provides the technology tools we need to effectively implement our business model."

Further demonstrating the flexibility of Fiserv Aperio, one client in the Americas is using Fiserv Aperio to provide front-line sales and service staff with a single view of customer data from eight different core systems, significantly improving productivity and customer service. Anoother institution plans to use the application to streamline credit card sales and service processes, enabling them to support rapid growth in new accounts without increasing staffing costs.

"It's exciting to see financial institutions in the U.S. and around the world choosing Fiserv Aperio in competitive selection processes," said Tony Catalfano, president of Fiserv CBS Worldwide. "We're thrilled at the variety of ways our clients are leveraging Fiserv Aperio's flexibility and deep functionality to manage key customer-facing business processes across product lines and delivery channels. Fiserv Aperio's versatility helps institutions execute their growth strategies, streamline and standardize their operations, as well as deliver outstanding customer experience."

Utilizing Microsoft .NET and deployed on Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server, Fiserv Aperio is a process-centric, multi-channel sales and service solution designed expressly for banks, credit unions and finance companies. Fiserv Aperio enables financial institutions to standardize business processes across branch, call center and web channels as well as back-office operations and rapidly re-configure the application when needed to adapt their business processes with their evolving needs.

"Microsoft's approach for channel renewal focuses on putting reusable business components in place that help banks achieve cross-channel consistency, improve customer experiences, and more easily deploy new products and services," said David Vander, managing director, Worldwide Financial Services, Microsoft Corporation. "Banks today place great importance on these objectives, and Fiserv Aperio provides an excellent example of a next-generation channel renewal solution that delivers on this approach."
