RTS Realtime Systems Group is pleased to announce its readiness for the launch of The Boston Options Exchange (BOX).

Several of RTS primary customers have been successfully installed with RTD software providing them with access to the full functionality for market makers and EAMs of the BOX marketplace for the production launch. RTS offers full functionality with a premier Options Trading Platform and with products such as the RTD Quote Machine® and the RTD Electronic Eye®.

The Boston Options Exchange (BOX) is an equity derivatives exchange which has recently been approved by The Securities and Exchange Commission. All trading is fully automated. A key feature of the BOX market is the Price Improvement Process (PIP), an automated trading mechanism which permits brokers to seek to improve executable client orders. This functionality is part of our RTD Software Products as well. BOX plans to commence trading on February 8th, 2004.

Steffen Gemuenden, Member of the RTS Board, comments: "After the launch of the ISE and CBOE Hybrid, the connectivity to the BOX Boston Options Exchange is a further milestone in RTS's expansion to North America's option markets."

In addition to BOX, RTS already provides connectivity to other North American option markets such as ISE and CBOE Hybrid.
