JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services today announced it has expanded its business in Amsterdam by hiring new employees and has moved to larger office space.
JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services in the last year has hired a team based in Amsterdam to work with Dutch corporate and institutional investors, such as pension funds, fund management and insurance companies. JPMorgan plans to build out the business to provide custody, securities lending, accounting, investment operations, fund administrative services and alternative investment services, such as derivative, private equity and hedge fund services, for Dutch clients.
Francis Jackson, head of sales and business development for JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services in EMEA, said, "The Dutch market is extremely important to us, and we want to provide the best possible service to the pension fund and asset management community there. Last year we identified the Dutch market as one of our focuses for growth in EMEA, and by hiring the team led by John Gout we are better able to provide the high level of service to our Dutch clients."
