Ed Gallagher joins GoldenSource as Senior Vice President Head of Sales and Client Operations for the Americas. Reporting to Mark Zill, Executive Vice President of Global Client Operations, Gallagher is responsible for all GoldenSource sales, pre-sales and professional services activities across Canada, North America and South America.

Gallagher brings to GoldenSource more than 25 years experience in the securities industry. Most recently, he was the President and chief executive of Rapid Ratings, a global, quantitative, model-based, independent research provider.

Prior to Rapid Ratings, Gallagher successfully ran sales organizations for Deutsche Bank as Managing Director, ADP Brokerage (now Broadridge) and Pershing (DLJ). He has held various management and sales positions at national full-service and discount brokerage firms and is well-recognized as a business builder and agent of change.

Also joining the GoldenSource sales and marketing department, is Neil Edelstein. Appointed as Senior Director of Product Solutions, Edelstein will work closely with GoldenSource Product Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams to ensure that GoldenSource products continue to exceed client requirements.

Edelstein has more than 30 years sales experience in the financial services industry, including reference data and pricing expertise. He previously held roles at Standard & Poors, Interactive Data, Thomson (as President of Muller Data), and SunGard, where he was Managing Director. Edelstein has also worked as an independent consultant for DTCC, Vanguard, Wachovia, and Allstate.
