Eagle Investment Systems, a global leader in providing the world's premier financial institutions with data management, accounting and performance measurement solutions, announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Impact Investing, an Australia-based software firm that offers comprehensive portfolio analysis capabilities to professional equity money managers.

Impact provides portfolio managers a clear view into their funds and exposes unintended risk through a management dashboard that presents exposures, performance and attribution analysis, risk and style analysis, as well as key comparisons to internal and external research conclusions. The pairing of Eagle's data management solution with Impact's analysis tool allows information to flow from the Eagle data warehouse to portfolio managers' desks as focused analysis. The two organizations are working together to deliver an integrated solution that will streamline the implementation for mutual clients.

"By linking Eagle's data management solution to Impact's analysis tool, our clients can add enormous capabilities to the front office. This coupling extends the value of the Eagle solution throughout the client's entire organization," said John Lehner, Eagle president. "Implementing a data warehouse is essential to producing consistent and accurate enterprise data. Impact's tool delivers the value of this effort to the business side of the industry, and this alliance will make information generated by Eagle more focused for portfolio managers."

"Impact's analysis tool is designed by portfolio managers for portfolio managers to monitor their funds in real-time and avoid unintended investment risk," said Nigel Allfrey, chief executive officer of Impact. "Impact presents relevant data in a timely manner and graphically renders insight into the effects of investment decisions. The power of our analysis tool is greatly magnified with the aggregated and quality data from the Eagle solution."
