Orange Business Services announced today that it has successfully equipped the London dealing room of Bayerische Landesbank with its Etrali Mach 3D terminals.
The deal sees Etrali equipment replacing dealerboards previously supplied by IPC.
Commenting on the decision, Bayerische Landesbank IT Desktop Support Director Jeff Hunt said: "Along with a consultant we conducted a thorough evaluation of the options for upgrading our voice trading technology. The systems available on the market were demonstrated to traders, who expressed a strong preference for the Etrali technology."
He added, "The dealers were positive about the functionality and ease of use offered by the Etrali Mach 3D turret, particularly the unique touch screen technology."
"Installation ran to schedule thanks to the responsive engineers at Orange Business Services," said Hunt. "We are grateful for the support and effort they put in to ensure the target live date was achieved."
The state-of-the-art Etrali Mach 3D turret can be used in IP or TDM mode and is powered by the renowned Etrali Voice Platform. The latest version of the system - V36 - features a number of enhancements, including automated international dialling functionality as well as multiple IP addressing mechanisms to guarantee optimum business continuity.
Tony Batten, sales director Trading Systems at Orange Business Services UK, welcomed the deal: "Bayerische Landesbank's decision, based on stringent evaluation, is further confirmation of our position as the premier supplier of voice trading solutions in a competitive marketplace. I am delighted to add them to our global client community."
