Orion Books launches new ATM:ad campaign

Orion Books, which ran a highly successful campaign using ATM:ad, the cash machine medium in April, has booked a fresh promotion to launch a new hardback novel from thriller writer, Harlan Coben.
The Orion campaign, which goes live on May 21st, will promote "The Woods", the latest Coben title, which is being launched in hardback on May 16th. Like the previous Orion campaign for Coben's novel, "Promise Me", this creative will also be based on a video, featuring teenagers lost in the woods. The accompanying strapline is 'Get lost in The Woods'.
The ads will run for four weeks across selected cash machines in the capital, including London Underground sites, railway stations and shopping malls. During the run, the ad is expected to deliver 210,000 one-to-one transactions and 55,000 cash machine receipts, which will also feature a reminder of the campaign, further strengthening the promotional message.

It was the first time that a book publisher had used such a medium and it worked extremely well.
