JSC "Kredobank" is a part of the PKO BP Group, Poland's leading financial group; the main stakeholders are PKO BP SA, the largest Polish bank, and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The bank's foreign investments underpin its strategy to support the Western standards and to provide value added services to its multiple customers through the use of modern technology. To further grow from its leading position in the Ukrainian retail financial services market Kredobank preferred to have a reliable technology platform for continued card business development and has selected BPC's SmartVista solution as its functional core.

The SmartVista Suite will provide Kredobank with comprehensive functionality to issue and acquire both debit and credit cards of Visa International and MasterCard Worldwide payment schemes. Additionally the supplied solution will include SmartVista Fraud Prevention and Monitoring module for on-line rule based transaction filtering, and full functional SMS-banking and EMV acquiring facilities.

The flexibility and power of the SmartVista solution will enable the bank to rapidly bring to market new card based products and to launch retail programs in compliance with the customers' ever increasing demands and new initiatives of International Payment Organisations. Building on SmartVista features Kredobank will enhance the efficiency of customer service by allowing the customers to manage their accounts linked to a card using a variety of channels: ATMs, kiosks, mobile devices.

"We are committed to extending the range and variety of financial products, implementing the highest European standards of client service and increasing customer loyalty by offering customers convenient access to all their accounts through whichever channel they chose. The implementation of a feature rich in-house processing centre will enable us to greatly improve customer satisfaction and to be the first in the market with new product offering", said Stepan Kubiv, Chairman of the Board, JSC "Kredobank".

"The contract signing with Kredobank is another exciting win for us on the Ukrainian banking market that is undergoing a rapid development. We are pleased that SmartVista has become a solution of choice for the bank that constitutes a part of a largest Western financial group and that has been very careful in selecting both the technology solution and the vendor for its project. Truly international by nature, SmartVista will become a basis to support the bank's innovative business growth and will help to deliver its future strategy", said Vasily Volynskiy, Director BPC-Ukraine.
