Scotiabank podcasts on home ownership

Homeowners now have quick and easy access to advice and information from Scotiabank's The Money Clip podcasts. The new Home Ownership Series features guest experts from the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CHMC), and celebrity designer Margie Doyle White from the W Network's Take This House and Sell It home decorating show.
"The Home Ownership Series is our newest podcast designed to provide Canadians with information that they can use to make important decisions about their home," says John Doig, Senior Vice-President, Marketing, Domestic Personal Banking. "Podcasts are growing in popularity and enable us to deliver timely, relevant information to a wide range of people."
The Home Ownership Series will feature nine podcast interviews up to 10 minutes in length. CHMC experts will discuss topics such as:
- critical factors for finding a first home;
- understanding mortgage options;
- what to look for in an agent;
- the role of the home inspector; and
- making a home marketable and tips for renovating.
Designer Margie Doyle White will bring her expertise to Canadians to:
- offer insights on why some houses don't sell;
- look at how to improve the appeal of a home;
- discuss current decorating trends; and
- provide tips on decorating on a tight budget.
The Money Clip podcasts feature straightforward advice and tips to help Canadians to achieve their financial goals.
