BNP Paribas Asset Management wanted to collect key resources in one database and simplify access to the information. Information Builders' WebFOCUS business intelligence solution integrates the crucial and complex functionality that BNP Paribas AM needs. The new features of the WebFOCUS solution offer users personalised analysis and management tools, improved monitoring and control, as well as strategic and pertinent indicators to monitor activities.

WebFOCUS optimises information management at a number of levels by providing:

• Screens that enable users to control the flow of information and visualise rejects originating from the central SAS database
• A Business Intelligence application in the form of dashboards to monitor the quality of vendor services and generate financial and management analyses in predefined file formats (HTML, PDF, XLS), including classic reporting
• Functions, such as the management of user groups, the ability to define access permissions for a range of portfolios or a particular type of data, the ability to personalise standard reports, export data, and generate statistics

Implementing WebFOCUS will enable the company to manage user-specific access to data and optimise the management and control tools in order to avoid potentially expensive errors.
