Ullink, leading provider of global transactional solutions for the financial community, today announced that UBS Investment Bank selected the UL REACH solution to publish algorithms to buy-side clients.
UL REACH is an innovative solution for the automatic and instantaneous publication of algorithms to the buy-side community. Using UL REACH, brokers automatically certify and publish their algorithms on the platform to make them instantly available to their clients. Integrating via FIX with any EMS or OMS, UL REACH means brokers no longer need to adapt to multiple buy-side systems.
On the Buy Side, clients will benefit from the broker's latest strategies without having to wait for a new software release. UL REACH users browse through their broker's library to enrich their orders with algorithmic parameters. Operations on both sides (broker and client) are performed in a user-friendly graphical environment.
Tim Wildenberg, Head of Direct Execution Services for Europe at UBS Investment Bank, says of UL REACH: "With Buy side interest in algorithmic and direct execution constantly growing we were looking for an innovative solution to empower our clients with our advanced algorithmic products in an almost real time fashion. The UL REACH solution enables us to do this while by-passing the need to adapt every client system for every custom modification, enhancement or new algorithm. It gives both us and our clients far more flexibility and most importantly will allow our clients to get trading with our new tools and services quicker".
UL REACH is very flexible as brokers can add, update or delete algorithms and parameters dynamically. Beyond removing vendor dependency, this web-based solution also adapts to existing trading environments. Buy Side clients connect to the service through their existing point-to-point connection to their broker or through a third-party network.
"ULLINK keeps on innovating in an effort to provide its clients with flexible solutions which address their current and future business needs. UL REACH has received industry-wide attention and we have no doubt that the next developments on UL NET will have the same success" concluded Laurent Useldinger, CEO of ULLINK.
