RBS Lynk appoints John Grendi SVP, business development

RBS Lynk, a non-bank subsidiary of Citizens Financial Group, Inc. and the U.S. payment processing division of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, announced today that John Grendi has been named senior vice president of business development.

Grendi's responsibilities will include growing and developing strategic relationships with third-party industry partners.

Grendi's approach will generate leads across all of RBS Lynk's key business sectors, developing new markets for RBS Lynk's product and service offerings. Grendi brings more than 19 years of experience in sales management, marketing and business development to RBS Lynk's business development group.

Wine, president and CEO of RBS Lynk. "John's team will play an integral role in our expansion into key vertical markets and development of strategic partnerships."

Most recently Grendi served as client development leader at Deloitte Consulting, working with many of the top telecommunication, technology and media companies in the southeast. Prior to Deloitte, Grendi created the payment products group at Dell Computer. Grendi got his start in the payments industry at Chase Merchant Services. He held a variety of roles, including vice president of the direct commerce group.
