APACS recently announced that a new Faster Payments clearing and settlement service will be introduced in the UK to facilitate near real-time clearing of internet and telephone banking payments and standing orders for UK account customers. The scheme is scheduled to go live in November 2007.

Drawing upon Iliad's ten year experience of testing payment systems the T3-FasTest product set has realised more than 50% penetration of Faster Payment Members and application developers only 12 weeks since the official launch of the product.

T3-FasTest is a family of Faster Payments Testing components including CI functionality, CI performance testing and additional Bank Side functionality/performance testing tools that have been launched by Iliad to support the Faster Payments initiative.
