Selection Services will provide Bibby Financial Services with a fully outsourced IT function serving 650 global users at 38 locations across the UK, Ireland, France, Poland and the US. Through the agreement, Bibby Financial Services expects to streamline and consolidate its supplier base and achieve efficiencies in its IT systems.

The contract will see Selection provide the following services to Bibby Financial Services: 24/7 remote monitoring and management of all servers; 24 hour helpdesk facility; deskside support; project management and disaster recovery, and includes unlimited access to a dedicated project manager. Having worked together since 2001, this latest contract encompasses a more comprehensive range of IT support services, which have also expanded geographically and include support for non-English speaking employees.

"We have a huge amount of trust in Selection Services, having worked together for over five years. Selection is seen as an extension of our IT department and provide a very professional and personal service to our employees," commented Mark Mills, service delivery manager at Bibby Financial Services. "By formalising and expanding our relationship with this latest contract we anticipate optimum uptime of our IT services as well as increased efficiency and productivity across the IT function, and also the business as a whole."

In addition, to meeting its IT support needs today, any incorporated growth within Bibby Financial Services' global infrastructure will automatically be implemented and supported by Selection Services.

"Global organisations, like Bibby Financial Services, are increasingly realising the cost and operational benefits of outsourcing their IT function to a specialist provider who can offer support in any country," commented Alan Cantwell, CEO of Selection Services. "It is testimony to our ability to consistently deliver high quality IT support and services that Bibby Financial Services has renewed and expandedd their agreement with us."
