Within the scope of the co-operation between the two German public insurers; SV Sparkassen-Versicherung and Provinzial NordWest group, the assets of Provinzial NordWest will in the future be managed using SimCorp Dimension.
SV SparkassenVersicherung has successfully been using SimCorp Dimension since 2002.
The joint-venture VersAM Versicherungs-Assetmanagement GmbH (VersAM) was founded for the asset management of the two public insurers. The usage of SimCorp Dimension ranges from portfolio and risk management to performance measurement. The use of the international accounting (IFRS) module is planned as well.
"Bundling the assets from Munster, Stuttgart and Kiel enables us to process standard investment types more efficiently and frees resources for other, more know-how-intensive areas", explains Ulrich Lingner, speaker of the management board of VersAM.
