Abbey Financial Markets has signed a new market data management contract with Business Control Solutions, the business control solutions provider (BCS), its supplier since July 2004.
Abbey Financial Markets originally signed up BCS for a two and a half year contract to provide on-site market data management and administration. When this came to an end at the end of 2006, they were keen to continue the relationship and extend the service provided by BCS into 2007.
Mark Heaney, UK CIO for Abbey Financial Markets, says he chose to renew the arrangement with BCS because of the quality of service and the direct business value delivered over the past two and a half years.
Commenting on the contract extension, Janet Simpson, manager of the Market Data Team at BCS said, "I'm delighted that Abbey Financial Markets has chosen to continue to use BCS. 2006 saw our market data team grow and we are continuing to build our client base. We're looking forward to further growth in 2007 and this new contract is a great start to the year."
