Allpoint, America's largest surcharge-free ATM network, announced the signing of the largest direct bank, ING Direct.
By joining Allpoint, ING Direct now provides their customer base with 32,000 surcharge-free ATMs covering all 50 states.
"We are excited that ING Direct has joined Allpoint," said Ben Psillas, President of Allpoint Network. "Unlike traditional brick and mortar banks which tend to have high overhead costs, ING Direct passes on savings to its customers by doing business online and over the phone. Our nationwide footprint is a natural fit with ING Direct."
"At ING Direct, we provide customers with a banking experience that is simple and secure," said Jim Kelly, Chief Operating Officer, ING Direct. "The surcharge-free Allpoint Network truly lets customers 'save' their money."
Allpoint provides ING Direct's customers with unlimited access to surcharge-free ATMs coast to coast located at convenient retailers such as Target and Costco. Participation in Allpoint offers card issuers access to a nationwide physical distribution channel at a fraction of the cost of building and maintaining their own network.
