RTS customers can now connect to the Equities-, Options- and Futures trading system of the NSE, one of the most vibrant exchanges in the region. RTS products will be available for the Indian market with immediate effect.

"Connectivity to India for market participants in India and our global accounts is a major milestone for RTS. We see India as a huge potential for growth and trading opportunities for our customers and we have seen a huge demand for our products within India", says Steffen Gemuenden, Co-CEO of RTS.

"We are excited to offer RTS products to the Indian trading community, and we are impressed how quickly RTS was able to develop the access to the Indian markets", says Achal Darbari, CEO of Essex India.

As India is set to become a major financial place, RTS partnered with Essex India in 2006. "As customers are now requesting access to local exchanges, providing access to the NSE was the next logical step," says John J. Dempsey, business development manager at RTS. Further exchange connections in India and Asia will follow and thus reinforce RTS's position in the region.
