WebMoney is a highly secure electronic purse accepted at over 3000 web merchants. Consumers can now top-up their purse online using Ukash, making online commerce accessible to the millions of people without credit cards or even bank accounts.

Buying and using Ukash is incredibly simple. In the UK and Europe, Ukash is working with partners to provide accessible purchase points for consumers to buy Ukash vouchers. There are currently 120,000 payment/purchase terminals operating in the UK, Germany, Ireland and Spain, in newsagents, grocery stores, petrol forecourts and other convenient locations. Unlike other pre-paid initiatives Ukash is free to the consumer at the point of purchase, ensuring cash consumers are not discriminated against.

Ukash is proving popular among migrant workers who may not have local bank accounts and credit cards but who still wish to embrace the benefits of the web. By allowing them to top-up their WebMoney purse with Ukash they are now empowered to pay online at the thousands of web sites that have chosen to accept payment by WebMoney.

Merchants have chosen WebMoney as it is a technically easy to integrate product that is backed by a highly secure infrastructure, providing the reliability & assurance necessary for payment transactions. Now with the ability to top-up the WebMoney purse with Ukash, merchants can also benefit from reaching into communities that have previously been unable to transact online.
