Handelsbanken Capital Markets is launching a new smart service for institutional customers. Customers can trade directly on Europe's leading stock markets with a couple of simple clicks.

They can conduct everything from a simple equity trade to a complex trade using advanced trading functionality.

In this way, Handelsbanken is meeting the large demand for advanced, cost-efficient services for direct market access trading on a broad range of markets.

The service is being launched in cooperation with NeoNet, Europe's leading independent supplier of DMA (Direct Market Access) solutions.

Mikael Ericson, Head of Handelsbanken Capital Markets, states, "We are offering our customers a world-leading service with our new, advanced solutions for direct equity trading on Europe's stock exchanges. It is important that we always find the best solution for our customers. Therefore, we have chosen to cooperate with NeoNet, which is the most innovative player in direct market access solutions."

In the first stage, Handelsbanken is offering direct market access to 13 leading European stock exchanges. This is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2007. The second stage plans to offer direct market access to stock exchanges beyond Europe.
