The Exchange today announced that Lighthouse Group, the 6th largest IFA group in the UK, has chosen the Exweb portal service as its preferred online e-commerce partner.
The 550 advisers within Lighthouse Group companies will now be able to perform comparative quotations and e-submissions for multiple providers including its preferred provider partner 'Steps'.
Key reasons Lighthouse has given for moving to The Exchange's Exweb service include:
- Exchange e-business adoption programme
- Greater product and provider coverage
- Simple switching between panel and whole of market providers
- Evolution of the existing Lighthouse adviser portal preferences
David Child, managing director of The Exchange, comments: "We are delighted that Lighthouse has chosen Exweb as its preferred industry platform. We continue to see record volumes of both online quotes and e-submissions on the Exweb portal and as new providers join, the service gives advisers an expanding choice of all the leading market providers and products available, benefiting them and their clients."
Eddie George IT director for Lighthouse, said: "Feedback from our intermediary roadshows highlighted that advisers have a strong preference for Exweb and we are very excited that The Exchange is now powering the Steps provider's panel. Partnering with Exweb is a logical step in our strategy to build distribution channels and drive towards greater adoption of e-trading and straight through processing."
