Screen INFOmatch, independent experts in market data and providers of market data management solutions, today announced that Unicredit has implemented INFOmatch to manage its Italian market data inventory.
The decision for INFOmatch as the Group's market data inventory tool came after an analysis of different solutions. INFOmatch was chosen as the right solution because of its flexibility and navigation features.
At its Milan headquarter, Unicredit uses the system for market data cost and contract management, user profiling and for detecting savings opportunities. The database, which is installed at the bank's premises, currently contains data from products such as Bloomberg and Reuters 3000XTRA. At a second stage, the user community accessing mid-tier market data products will be populated.
The objective of Unicredit installing INFOmatch is to create a Market Data Management structure that supports Cost Management functions with the aim to optimize market data costs within the Group.
