Truman State University has chosen U.S. Bank to be its campus bank card partner. U.S. Bank will provide the technology for the banking functionality of the school's multi-use identification card, called the Truman ID Card.
This new partnership includes a variety of optional U.S. Bank financial products and services including checking accounts with no minimum balance and no monthly maintenance fee for students, faculty and staff.
In addition to the new banking functionality, the Truman ID Card already provides official campus identification for more than 6,000 students, faculty and staff. The card can be used to purchase meals on campus, as a laundry debit card and as a library card. It also provides access to the school's Recreation Center.
For cardholders who also choose to open an account at U.S. Bank, the Truman ID Card will double as their ATM card on and off campus, and can be used as a debit card at merchants in the United States that accept Visa PIN debit. Two U.S. Bank branches are conveniently located near the campus - one at 202 E. McPherson and the other at 2202 N. Baltimore Ave.

"Our local branch teams have enjoyed working with students, faculty and staff and look forward to expanding our services and opportunities to help them meet their financial needs."
Truman State University is one of more than 30 colleges and universities that partners with U.S. Bank for a campus banking program. Others include Case Western Reserve University, Northern Kentucky University, San Diego State University, Iowa State University, Northwest Missouri State University, Xavier University and Northwestern University.
