SunGard Investment Management Systems, an operating group of SunGard (NYSE: SDS), today announced the appointment of Gary Mills to head the sales and marketing effort for SunGard's InvesTier investment accounting and reporting system.
Mr. Mills reports to Carol Kaufman, president of the InvesTier operating unit, and is based in SunGard Investment Management Systems' Hinsdale, Illinois office.
Mr. Mills possesses more than 23 years of industry experience and joins SunGard from fund administrator PFPC Inc., where he was vice president - business development in its Alternative Investments Group. Previously, he was vice president of marketing for software provider SS&C Technologies, Inc.'s hedge fund and family wealth business unit. Mr. Mills also previously held management positions with Shepro Braun Systems, Inc. and Coopers and Lybrand's Financial Services Consulting Group.
