On November 1, 2006, Jens Bohlen will be assuming responsibility for Wincor Nixdorf’s worldwide IT services business with banks and retail enterprises. As Senior Vice President, he will be a member of the company’s Executive Board.

Wincor Nixdorf will benefit from Mr. Bohlen's extensive experience with IT services. After completing a degree in electronic engineering, he began his career in the IT Services division at Hewlett Packard Germany, where he headed up the Outsourcing and Technology Services departments. Most recently, he was responsible for Technology Management Services for EMEA at Hewlett Packard.

In addition to his expertise in product services, Bohlen has extensive know-how in the field of IT outsourcing - an area in which Wincor Nixdorf will also continue to grow strongly.

Jens Bohlen will take over the leadership of the IT services business from Stefan Auerbach, who had managed this unit parallel to his function as the member of the Board of Directors of Wincor Nixdorf AG responsible for the Banking business.
