Financial institutions will now have the ability to use Arcot's strong authentication and risk management solutions to prevent identity theft and fraud while ensuring seamless interoperation with Yodlee's suite of solutions - including bill pay, personal financial management (PFM), and advisor applications.

Arcot and Yodlee will integrate the Arcot RiskFort risk management and Arcot WebFort multi-factor authentication solutions with the full suite of Yodlee applications. RiskFort measures the fraud potential of every online transaction while WebFort provides strong, PKI-based user authentication with a simple username/password interface. RiskFort and WebFort are included in Arcot's suite of FFIEC-compliant strong authentication solutions.

Arcot's RiskFort examines the characteristics of each online transaction using multiple factors including Device ID, IP address, time and frequency of access to score the potential for fraud for every online transaction. Organizations can set their own risk threshold for a range of response options, based on the risk score. The responses range from allowing a transaction, to prompting for additional information, to escalating to a customer service representative, to real-time blocking. Arcot's WebFort provides true user two-factor authentication using the ArcotID® software smart card. WebFort delivers strong authentication and protection from attacks including man-in-the-middle while continuing to support the familiar user name and password interface.
