BT Radianz, a leading global provider of financial services connectivity, has been selected by Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking to expand access to its equity execution product.

Through the agreement Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking will leverage the BT Radianz shared market infrastructure to expand the availability of Quantum, the bank's execution service, to a global community of over 10,000 financial service sites.

The Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking Quantum Service provides a single integrated portal that provides access to all the bank's equity trading products. Through the portal the bank provides access to electronic trade order routing, program and algorithmic trading, and direct market access services.

Richard Hills, Head of Electronic Services for Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking , said: "We are delighted to be opening our Quantum service to the BT Radianz community. This move gives us excellent market access to leading global financial sites and gives our equity trading portal unparalleled visibility into the international trading network. This is a key alliance and we're very confident our relationship with BT Radianz will further enhance our market offering and allow a wider variety of clients to take advantage of our services."

David Stopforth, Head of European Sales, BT Radianz, said: "Over the past six months we have seen tremendous growth in direct market access in Europe driven by increasing independence of buy-side firms and regulatory pressures. BT Radianz has played a key role in supporting this expansion of DMA in Europe. We are very pleased to be adding Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking to our global network of leading content and service providers. Clients connected via BT Radianz will benefit from the combination of our low latency network and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking equity trading services."
