Liberty Bank for Savings, of Chicago, Illinois, has expanded its relationship with Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq:FISV) by adding Fiserv VISION for outsourced core data processing services, as well as a comprehensive solution set of other Fiserv products and services. Liberty Bank, with assets of $764 million, has been providing financial services to the people of Chicago for more than 100 years.
Mike Rigney, Fiserv VISION President, said the partnership with Liberty Bank for Savings was a natural fit.
"Many of the key products previously employed by Liberty Bank to make their business successful were Fiserv products," Rigney said. "The selection of Fiserv VISION for core account processing services strengthens Liberty Bank's prior technology investments, while providing additional benefits of improved integration and simplified product navigation with a premium long-term service provider."
In addition to the Fiserv VISION core processing system, Liberty Bank for Savings will add several Fiserv products and services, including the VISION Data Warehouse, the Nautilus imaging system from Fiserv's Imagesoft Technologies unit, and image-based check processing. The bank will continue to rely on Fiserv for loan origination capabilities through easyLENDER and electronic funds transfer services through Fiserv EFT/CNS.
