LogicaCMG announced today that its Manhattan office staff has moved into a 3000 square foot suite of offices on the 29th floor at 655 Third Avenue, close to Grand Central Station and the Chrysler Building. The company had previously occupied smaller offices on a lower floor of the same building.

"This top floor location gives us more than a great view," commented veteran technology executive Edward Asip, who joined the company in April as director of sales. "There’s room for us to add to our staff, which we expect we’ll be doing shortly in our payments practice, our managed testing practice, and our sales team. It’s an ideal spot from which to execute our plans for growth."

"We’re looking forward to sharing our vision for the next generation of solutions in both payments and compliance. LogicaCMG has been a leader in payments and financial messaging since 1981. More than 150 global banks use our systems to transfer over $5 billion in funds every day. As for compliance, we’re proud that both the New York Fed and the Continuous Linked Settlement Bank are among those who use our solutions," continued Mr. Asip, whose 30-year career includes tenure at Chase, Digital, Cap Gemini, Computer Sciences Corporation, and Getronics.

John M. Dettori Jr., who recently joined LogicaCMG from ABN Amro Bank to establish the North America managed testing practice, also maintains his office in the company’s Manhattan location.

"Our method of managed testing, which has been tremendously popular throughout Europe and Asia, has also attracted a good deal of interest in the first few months that John has been on the job here," said Karen A. Roche, president of LogicaCMG Financial Services in North America.

"Rather than waiting to test at the end of the software development life cycle, our framework integrates testing within the overall application development process. It uncovers problems earlier and brings significant savings to our clients."

LogicaCMG’s North America headquarters is in Houston. In addition to New York, the company has facilities in Atlanta; Burlington, Massachusetts; Dallas; Richmond; Kirkland, Washington; Southfield, Michigan; Toronto; and Mexico City.
