Axway receives SwiftReady Financial EAI Gold for Synchrony

Axway, Inc. (Paris:SOP) today announced that it has received the SWIFTReady Financial EAI GOLD Label for its Synchrony platform.

With this recognition, the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), acknowledges that the Axway platform provides the entire financial community with the guarantee that this solution is perfectly compatible with all the requirements associated with exchanges via SWIFTNet.

Axway's Synchrony for SWIFTNet Exchange Platform makes it possible for the financial services industry to take advantage of the full range of technology and services available through SWIFTNet. The company specifically constructed a platform that handles all of the integration and exchange requirements of the SWIFT community. More than 25 clients around the world have already chosen Axway Synchrony for SWIFTNet.

SWIFT, a cooperative enterprise affiliated with the financial industry, supplies standardized and secure messaging services to more than 7,800 financial institutions in 204 countries. In 2005, over 2.5 billion messages were exchanged via the SWIFTNet network.

To assist the financial community in selecting software to enhance these messaging services, SWIFT evaluates the software of its partners according to clearly defined technical and functional criteria. At the highest level, the "Gold" Label is awarded to solutions that are totally compatible with the criteria defined by SWIFT, including the implementation of SWIFT standards.
