Cashcard will provide ATMs and ATM maintenance and support via agreements with "Q" Club members.
"Q" Clubs provides aggregated buying power for its licensed member clubs throughout Queensland. It passes on the benefits created through negotiations with various suppliers to members within its network. This approach by "Q" Clubs allows members to share possible discounts and benefit from newly created revenue streams.
According to Michael Mercer, CEO of "Q" Clubs, the Group selected Cashcard because of the company's strong reputation.
"Cashcard's credibility in the marketplace was a high consideration for us when selecting our preferred ATM supplier. We were aware of their premium service reputation and approach to minimum downtime for existing customers. These are two important considerations that are critical to the style of operation for our member clubs."
Certain "Q" Clubs members, that were not previously Cashcard ATM Services network customers, have already made the move to the Cashcard service arrangement.
"We believe that as existing contracts come up for renewal, the individual clubs will assess the highly attractive benefits that Cashcard provides and will move across. In fact we find that we have a high compliance from our member clubs with negotiated agreements as part of the "Q" Clubs charter. I expect that this agreement will also extend to the Cashcard ATM preferred supplier alliance," he concluded.
The appointment of Cashcard as preferred provider for the "Q" Clubs Buyers Group is a continuation of Cashcard's recent successes within the licensed club industry throughout Australia.
"I am pleased to welcome "Q" Clubs on board the Cashcard ATM Services network," said Mr. Greg Nash, Managing Director, First Data International Australia, New Zealand and South Asia.
"Over the past year we have focused on further improvements to our dedicated service and support levels for our ATM customers and this has certainly been appreciated by the market. We look forward to individual "Q" Clubs member clubs assessing the Cashcard difference and joining our network to benefit from our service and understanding of their business requirements.
We are proud that we can assist our licensed club customers maintain their revenues and continue their ongoing support of community programs," Mr. Nash concluded.
