SciVantage, Inc., a fast-growing provider of state-of-the-art technology and middleware solutions for retail and institutional broker/dealers, today announced that Piper Jaffray & Co. has chosen its TradeVantage Investor solution as the online interface for its investment clients.

TradeVantage Investor is the most advanced trading and investment platform available to the retail investor, enabling brokerage firms to present a world-class, fully customizable, client-friendly web presence at an affordable cost. TradeVantage allows brokerage firm clients to access their real-time holdings, account activity and gain/loss data, as well as trade securities and view the latest research, news and market information.

Through additional TradeVantage modules, brokerage firms are able to manage a range of internal and customer functionality. For example, through TradeVantage eDecision, firms can manage their review and release and implement edits and checks for everything from compliance to overall efficiency. TradeVantage OFX allows brokerage clients to download portfolio information and activity to Intuit Inc.'s Quicken(R) personal financial management program. TradeVantage eMoney Management enables clients to transfer money, write checks and pay bills electronically.

In implementing the SciVantage solution, firms can offer their clients a web site with superior navigation and functionality with minimal disruption, while generating a cost savings of as much as 40 percent, versus its previous online costs. All told, Piper Jaffray's site, which was officially launched on December 31, 2003, provides more than 30 new, value-added features over the firm's previous site.

By allowing brokerage firms to offer their clients benefits that few firms of its size can offer, such as the Quicken download capability, more timely account information and more customized portfolio guidance, TradeVantage has allowed it to provide big-brokerage type services while still maintaining the hometown feeling its clients value. In addition, by making it easier for brokers to forge closer client relationships, the improved resources are helping firms to attract and retain high-quality advisory talent.

"We are extremely pleased that following an intensive review of the marketplace, a firm of Piper Jaffray's stature has chosen our product over those of our competitors," said Adnane Charchour, President and CEO of SciVantage. "It serves to reaffirm our belief that no other platform provides the same coupling of cost benefits to broker/dealers with features and enhancements that make it easier than ever for clients to track and manage their investments."
